When we first arrived at the hospital this morning they told us that they didn't know if the liver was on the premises or soon to be. Either way it was close. Soon after, the surgical nurse came out to the waiting room to meet everyone. He said the liver was in the operating room and they were preparing it for surgery as we spoke.
