I'm not sure if you are know this song but It reminds me of you & your family when I hear it - Its by Casting Crowns the Lyrics follow-

Praise You in This Storm

I was sure by now,God, that You would have reached down
and wiped our tears away,
stepped in and saved the day.
But once again, I say amen
and it's still raining
as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain,
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away.

Chorus:
And I'll praise you in this storm
and I will lift my hands
for You are who You are
no matter where I am
and every tear I've cried
You hold in your hand
You never left my side
and though my heart is torn
I will praise You in this storm

I remember when I stumbled in the wind
You heard my cry to You
and raised me up again
my strength is almost gone how can I carry on
if I can't find You
and as the thunder rolls
I barely hear You whisper through the rain
"I'm with you"
and as Your mercy falls
I raise my hands and praise
the God who gives and takes away

Chorus

I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth
I lift my eyes onto the hills
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth

Chorus

I know the storm has been long for you but continue to fight. The BMT will happen we just have to continue to have faith!

So good to hear Clark's voice, and I continue to be amazed by your strength and courage, and your ability to bounce back. Hang in there and don't give up. Still too many doors that have not been pounded on. So we need to continue to make a mighty noise!!!

I have a motto on my computer that reads "If you can do more... You should". I sent Kate a list of doors to pound on, and I will be coming up from St. George on Friday to see you with Kate.

Much love and gratitude for all you and your family have taught be about courage and family unity!!!

My day just got a whole lot better and my problems a whole lot smaller when I looked at your blog, as I have for many, many months. Clark, I don't know you or any of your family members. I was "introduced" to you by my step-sister, Jana Mills. Your incredible strength and courage this past year have inspired me and you have helped me put life into perspective. Thank you. I am praying for you and your family.

Well, shoot...I thought that I posted a comment last night around midnight, but it isn't there.

The # of $500,000 seems so ominous when we look at it. However, I got to thinking last night that, with the help of all of us and the media, if 100,000 people would give just $5 each. It seems that if we were to present it to people like that, then suddenly it is very, very achievable. $5...just $5. So, so very many people could give up just one cup of coffee for Clark, and wa-la...we're there. I think that it is all in how we present it to the general public. Even having a "ticker" to show the number of members who have participated in the "$5 Club"?

Surely there are some incrediblely clever people in our midst who could get this simple $5 message out to the people of Utah, SD, KS, etc.

I don't know....just a thought.

All our love and continued prayers,
the schuchard's

love giving up the coffee idea, or for those of us who don't drink coffee, giving up a couple Pepsi's or even giving up eating out one day.....

I was lying in my bed the night I read about Medicaid saying no and tried to think what we could do for Clark. I don't know you or your family and wonder how to help. How do we organize a fundraiser and make it happen. We want to do anything to HELP! I agree that if everyone would give a little it wouldn't be so hard to reach the goal. Everyone needs to get on board and start giving even a little. IT CAN BE DONE!! Keep fighting Clark we think of you every day. The Smith Family
