It will be the little things
that you will remember,
the quiet moments,
the smiles, the laughter.
And although it may seem
hard right now,
it will be the memories
of these little things
that help to push
away the pain
and bring the smiles
back again.

Rhonda, your strength has always inspired me and this is yet another testament of your grace & beauty as not only a mother but as a woman. Kristin, you have truly inspired so many for your devotion and love this past year to the care of your Superman. Ryan, I cannot find the words. Friend, you have held a special place in my heart for many years. Continue to take care of each other as Jim & Clark continue to take care of each of you.

So sorry for you loss. He was such a great guy and was loved by so many. He will forever be watching over your family. RIP Clark.

Again, there are not words to bring you comfort in your sorrow. My prayers tonight are for you all and for the family whose lost loved one allowed us this year to pour our love and admiration onto Clark. He takes a piece of all our hearts along with him. While our eyes overflow with tears of anguish, Clark's are beholding sights that cause his to overflow with joy. Even knowing the truth of that, the sense of loss is unbearable.

As our yard sign said in August, "Clark, we are praying for you."

Kimble family,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss tonight. I've been following Clark's blog, and my heart goes out to each of you. I never had the chance to meet Clark but taught Huxley in 7th grade and know Clark had to have the same great personality as his younger brother. Clark will be greatly missed--his courage and zest for life will not be forgotten. I know the pain of losing a sibling and will be praying for you all...

Dear Kimbles,

He did fight a good fight and he WON in the eyes of God!!

I believe God said; "Well done good and faithful servant, Welcome home!!"

By our faith in God, we can be at peace with a loved ones passing...But to lose their earthly presence hurts us...So in that time of sorrow we hold each other up by our prayers...

Thank you so much Kristin and Rhonda for keeping up this blog so that those of us who are thousands of miles away could commiserate with you.

Last Sunday I bore my testimony at church and was feeling an overwhelming gratitude for Heavenly Father and for the plan of salvation. I'm grateful for the life that Clark lived and the time that we could spend together. May the Lord comfort you and all of us at this time as we will no longer have Clark with us in this life.

If I may, I'd like to share a scripture and a thought that are especially helpful to me:

"Now, concerning the state of the soul between death and the resurrection-- behold, it has been made known unto me by an angel, that the spirits of all men. as soon as they are departed from this mortal body, yea, the spirits of all men, whether they be good or evil, are taken home to that God who gave them life."

I remember when I came up to Watertown after Jim had passed away, when I was talking to Clark, he said, "Now I've got two fathers in heaven." At his young age he understood a beautiful truth. I pray that he is comforted with his reunion with his fathers in heaven.

And I pray especially for you Rhonda and for your family. I love you all very much and am mourning with you.

So many wonderful thoughts and statements made by so many. Many of whom only knew Clark thru your incredible blog. I am one of those and I share the sentiments of all the above.

Clark has been a very inspirational presence in the lives of all who "knew" him, in life or in blog. He will be missed - we all had high hopes he'd recoup and be able to tell us he was back on his feet and there would be no more need for the blog!! Literally thousands all over this country were praying for this end.

Is it any wonder that Clark was the person he was, with such a supportive, loving family?? Your family is to be envied. How I wish I had what Clark has in you. He's now happy and pain free, how can we even think to wish him back, when complete recovery wasn't to be. God knows best. You are in my thoughts and prayers. May the next days, months and years bring you peace.

I read something most tragic tonight,
A super hero lost his fight.
He fought hard and for so long,
And in the end, he did not stand alone.
He had his family,
And a nationwide of friends.
Through out the day,
They were praying and holding hands.
This hero though did not succumb to defeat,
He stands by our lord,
Empowered and sleek.
This hero is our Clark.
Strong and true.
His journey was amazing and inspiring not just for a few.
He touched so many hearts that this night the tears could fill a river.
To think this all started because of a liver.
Clark you are my hero,
As you are to so many.
So to our Super Clark Kimble,
I bid you farewell,
And unending love.

I hadn't heard of Clark until tonight when my niece posted something on Facebook and I googled his name. It hurts my heart to hear of the difficulty that Clark, and you as his family, have experienced. It seems to me that he had a great mission here on earth to inspire people to hold on, better their lives, love those closest to them and never forget the power we have within to make a difference. My life will now forever be changed because of Clark. I will love more, give more and spend more time doing the things I know God would have me do because of someone I discovered only after they had gone on to a greater place. Clark has blessed so many people and enriched the life of many he never even met. May peace be with you as Clark's family knowing the fight he fought was not in vain, it reminded so many what is truly important in this mortal life. Thank you and God bless.

I don't know if you knew this before but...

The Monument

God,
Before He sent His children to earth
Gave each of them
A very carefully selected package
Of problems.

These,
He promised, smiling,
Are yours alone. No one
Else may have the blessings
These problems will bring you.

And only you
Have the special talents and abilities
That will be needed
To make these problems
Your servants.

Now go down to your birth
And to your forgetfulness. Know that
I love you beyond measure.
These problems that I give you
Are a symbol of that love.

The monument you make of your life
With the help of your problems
Will be a symbol of your
Love for me,
Your Father

Blaine M. Yorgason

Thinking of your family at this sad time. All of you must love your Father very much to have done all that you have. Rest peacefully Clark.

I am saddened that I must be very patient, and wait until my life ends to be able to see Clark again, but I am relieved that his suffering has ceased. His journey has deeply affected my life with humility and perspective, leading me to focus on what really matters. I am thankful for the Kimble/Yoder family and for their strength and courage to fight this battle united as one, and to allow us to fight alongside them with Clark. Because of the Atonement, and Christ's resurrection, Clark will eventually be restored into his beautiful unblemished body. It gives me great peace to know that Clark was baptized (by his father Jim?,) and that Clark believed and understood the great plan of salvation, and that Christ is our Savior. Now he is back home. Great Peace.

He will always be with you and be watching over you as only Super Clark can do.

We may be seperated by a geographical distance, I hold you all in a tight loving embrace in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Also in my heart will be a special place for Clark where he will remain and be honored from now on.

I met Clark last year when he came to Las Vegas and worked a few months for my husband doing cellular work. The thoughts that come to my mind is when he pulled up in his fancy car and out jumped the loves of his life, his dogs!! He said these dogs are here with me to live I hope that's ok!! He loved those dogs! Clark's blog has really put life into perspective for me. I have learned that whatever adversity comes along we must all never give up HOPE! Without hope we have nothing! Clark we will all see you again someday. Until that time comes we will be down here fighting the big fight and never losing hope! RIP Clark

Super Clark, what a fitting name. I wish I had half of the will power and determination Clark displayed through this whole process. He always maintained the attitude that everything was going to be alright. Well, I think everything is finally alright, and God's plan for Clark is being carried out, just as God has intended. Clark has left his pain and his struggles, and has returned home. I can imagine the excitement that both he and his father Jim had during their reunion. Clark battled and fought and did everything he could to conquer the illness he was faced with. Unfortunately, it was not meant to be. I will miss Clark dearly, but I will be forever blessed with all of the memories of the experiences we shared together, and the honor I feel in having known him. I have been friends with Clark for just over 13 years. He and I went to high school together, and worked together at Williams Carpet, Premier Bankcard, and Larson Tower Specialists. We spent many days together playing football, playing video games, and attending church activities. I have always had the utmost respect for Clark. He always had such a big heart, and was always there for you when you needed him. I wish my best to the Kimble Family, and hope they know that everything will be alright. Clark, I love you and miss you. I look forward to seeing you again.

It has been gently raining for hours here in Sioux Falls. I think of the raindrops as tears from Heaven: tears of sympathy for our loss, yet tears of joy shed by those loving family members who have welcomed Clark Home.

I feel privileged to have been able to meet Clark. Him and his family were a great inspiration to my family. His mom taught me to have faith when I was I going thru a hard time in my life. It’s never easy when you have a sick child. We were in the hospital the same time Clark was. My son was a little over 2 years old and needed a Liver Transplant. We were having a rough time after his transplant with complications. That is when we came across Clark’s blog. And I seen how much this super hero had been thru and I knew that we would make it thru this. Rhonda’s faith and strength and love for her child inspired me to be strong and have faith that everything would be fine. I have been lucky enough to be able to visit with Clark and Kristin in her home and also enjoy lunch with Rhonda at the hospital. Clark will greatly be missed. He has touched so many lives. He truly is a super hero. My prayers are with you all as you go thru the next trials of your life. Just know that Clark is with his Heavenly Father and is finally pain free and at peace. He fought a great fight. But our Father in heaven has a greater purpose for him.

I still don't like it. It is so very hard on the loved ones left behind. WE are so sorry that "Super Clark" will be not be with us on earth but he will be in our hearts, forever. I know he will be celebrating with his loved ones in heaven as we are celebrating all he touched on earth. God will send us rainbows that we may remember forever what a "Super Clark he was.

In the time I knew Clark I had the great opportunity of meeting a few members of the amazing Kimble family. I am sad I never got to meet the rest of you in person, but I feel I have gotten to know you through this blog and the stories Clark shared with me. I remember the first day I met Clark in August of 2006 he spoke of his family. Right then I knew family was very important to him. The time I spent with Clark in the following years he never stopped speaking highly of his family and his moms cooking. I hope Clark knew how much I loved and cared for him. I want to thank you for this blog. It truly has helped me grow as a person as well as being able to follow Clark and your family on his long journey. So a new journey has begun for Clark and I know he will be just as great there as he was here. May the Lord be with you....stay strong. He will be forever missed by all whom he crossed paths with!

All of you have amazing strength, and as hard it is to know Clark has passed on in this life, I know he is so happy and watching over you. I pray and wish the best for your family at this difficult time, and want you to know Clark has personally made me greatful for life.

I was at the church Friday when I recieved the news and I walked into the santcuary to pray and these song lyrics were sitting there for me to read:
"My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
......Unending love, Amazing grace."

I know that Clark's chains of suffering are now gone.....and though I could never pretend to understand God's reasons for taking away someone so special from his family and friends, I do know that his love for Clark superceeds our own and we must believe in his never ceasing wisdom and love for all his children.

You are all in my prayers and I know your strength and faith will pull you through these difficult days ahead.

Clark has touched so many people this last year, I have friends who have never met him that have been following his blogs and have told me how they have grieved for all of you the past few days. His courage and unwavering faith is an example to all of us and I thank you all for allowing us to be a part of your journey this last year.

Love you guys and keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened that Clark has left this earth and left his wonderful family behind. But, I know he is in a better place without pain.

He has been an inspiration in my life the short time I have known about him. I haven't met Clark personally but was in his singles ward for a short period. I will always remember the love I felt from people in that ward for him.

Watching Clark fight for his life has given me a realization that I take my life for granted sometimes. He has also made me realize that I can be selfish and go through life with blinders on. Even if I don't know someone or if their problems don't directly affect me, it doesn't mean I can't try and help make their life better.

Clark seemed like a wonderful kid and I am sorry to see him go. He must have a lot of work to do in Heaven if he left us so soon. I'm sure he'll do wonders up there. RIP Clark. Your family is in my heart and prayers. Thank you for making a difference in my life.

I am so sorry to hear about Clark's passing. As one of the nurses in the ICU who cared for Clark last year after his liver transplant, I have been following this blog ever since. He went through so much when he was in my ICU and I can see how much he has gone through since then. I know how strong he was to have been able to make it through this past year, and how strong all of you are for helping him. You all did a wonderful job of sharing his story so he could be an inspiration to many. I hope that he has found peace and you can all be of comfort to each other during this difficult time.
